The Captain McFinn website is based upon the book series and children's audio series of the same name. Captain McFinn mainly crusades against bullying of any form.
The website you see here was designed mostly to convey the characters and environment. The big picture message here was to portray the characters first and make them believable. Once the characters are entertaining and believable, then they can convey a message.
This website is an extension of that philosophy by conveying an underwater theme and featuring the characters from that universe. Much thought and care was devoted to creating a website that not only is responsive to tablets and other mobile devices but also to the non-reading audience of the youngest of children.
Icons and audio cues help even the youngest of children learn about Captain McFinn and his mission to end bullying.
