A style was developed over the course of creating "Toy Story 3: The Video Game" and nothing showed off the style of the interface better than closeup versions of the array of icons that were produced. These icons filled the contextual menus, button prompts, and counters throughout the game. The intent was that they rival the artistic quality of their 3D counterparts. What you see here is a just a small sample of icons that were illustrated for the final game.
I picked some of my favorites here that I personally drew from either a 3D model reference or no reference at all. FYI: The first rocket icon is the icon for "turbo" when racing and is modeled after the rocket that Buzz and Woody use to power their way onto the moving van at the end of Toy Story 1.
