These were mockups that were produced for "Ultimate Band" for the Nintendo Wii. These mockups represent the final in-game look of the user interface that powered the on-screen gameplay for the game. Much of what you see here was produced to match these mockups very closely within the game itself. Because Flash and the ScaleForm GFx player proved to be a burden on the console when dealing with 4 player mode, the animation on this art was then reproduced with game code.
I produced original animations in Flash and then talented programmers translated that into coded animations that closely resembled my original intent. Because of close collaboration and careful compromise between art and tech, even the makers of ScaleForm became convinced that the in-game UI was produced with the Flash player when really only the FrontEnd UI was done entirely with ScaleForm and Flash.
